Verso ITSM Blog

Firstly I have to apologise for my total lack of blog entries in recent months.  Each day I get a calendar reminder to write a blog entry, and each day of late I have clicked the “dismiss” button.
My only excuse is that life is busy, which cannot be bad, but it is not a good enough reason to neglect my website!

In April of this year I was honoured to accept a contract with itSMF International as their chief editor.  The months since then have been full of translation projects, strategy development, meetings and travel.  The role is challenging and exciting and now, with the planning and strategising coming to a close, it will move into the phase of “real” work, commisioning and editing books, whitepapers, case studies, podcasts, video casts and any other media the global membership of ITSMF is lookng for.
I am currently in Montreal, after a meeting in London at the end of August.  The International Board of itSMF is meeting in Ottawa next week where I will be presenting our publishing strategy for approval.  This week, while still working both for itSMF and supporting my Serio customers, I am also enjoying the company of my son who currently resides in the lovely city of Montreal.

Speaking of Serio, there is a lot to tell you on that front too...I will post a news article shortly on the new network monitoring system, which is proving very popular both it is free and paid versions.
